Philip Reines, who prepared Vice President Harris to play former President Trump in Tuesday's debate, Selfie On Wednesday, he showed off his mock ex-presidential attire.
Raines, a longtime aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said she needed a “mental cleansing” after playing Trump in the mock debate.
“What to do: Facial[,] Haircut[,] “Psychological cleansing,” Rains wrote in X's post, which also included a photo of himself in the cramped confines of a small bathroom. Rains appeared to be wearing something that turned his face orange and had an untied red tie around his neck.
Raines also played Trump when Clinton was preparing to face him in the 2016 presidential debates.
Raines has often reflected on how she got into the role of Trump after Clinton's loss in the 2016 election.
“To prepare for her tough debates, I watched each of Trump's 15 Republican primary debates and forums three times: once from start to finish, a second time focusing only on Trump's interactions, and a third time with the sound muted to observe his demeanor and body language,” Raines says. said Politico article from 5 years ago.
“I probably know his debating style (if you can call it that) better than anyone on the planet (except Hillary Clinton, of course).”
Raines' post came after what many considered a successful debate night for Harris, with a flash CNN poll showing 63% of registered voters said they thought Harris performed better in the debate, compared with just 37% who said the former president's performance was better.
