‘Harry Potter’ actress Miriam Margolyes can no longer walk due to spinal condition

“Harry Potter” actress Miriam Margolyes has been left unable to walk due to a worsening spinal condition.

Margolies, 83, recently spoke to Closer Magazine about her struggle with spinal stenosis, a condition that causes the spinal canal to narrow.

“I have difficulty walking and I am registered as disabled,” she told the outlet. Per person“I use all kinds of assistive devices. I have two canes and a walker and it’s very boring. But I have a mobility scooter and it’s a lot of fun.”

“When you’re young, you don’t think about death. You basically just think about the next sex you’re going to have,” she joked. “I think about death a lot.”

“I can’t help but be aware that the time ahead of me is shorter than the time in front of me,” she added. “I’m still living on the run, and I’m open to new experiences, but I’m very conscious that there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.”

Margolies has accepted her death but worries that her money will run out before her time is up.
