A spokesperson for the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision told The Associated Press that Weinstein was incarcerated at Mohawk Correctional Facility, a state prison, and then transferred to the New York City Department of Corrections in accordance with his sentence.
Weinstein served a 23-year sentence. She was convicted of third-degree rape and criminal sexual conduct following allegations about herself that surfaced in 2017, igniting the #MeToo movement.
