Hasan Piker describes Lindsey Graham as 'bloodthirsty' following the senator's death

Controversial Comments Follow Lindsey Graham’s Death

Far-left streamer Hasan Piker referred to the late Senator Lindsey Graham as “bloodthirsty” in a video shared on his YouTube channel on Sunday, the day after Graham passed away unexpectedly from illness.

“We really ought to evaluate a person’s legacy accurately—not just the mainstream media’s take, but rather their real impact. And first off, I have to say that among many others, Lindsey Graham was particularly bloodthirsty—a war-hungry monster. He had never met a war he didn’t like,” Piker stated.

The 71-year-old Graham died from “aortic dissection due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” as indicated in the coroner’s report. However, it was emphasized that the findings are preliminary and that his death certificate will be pending until further examinations are carried out.

Lindsey Graham’s Controversial Legacy

“Sure, Lindsey Graham was pro-life, but he’s also, well, dead now. So let’s discuss his legacy for a moment as news outlets rush to highlight his career and portray him as a great guy,” Piker continued. “But that’s not what we do here on Hasan Abi Broadcasting.”

Piker was one of many commentators to capitalize on Graham’s death. He initially reacted to social media tributes that praised Graham’s relationship with Israel, mockingly posting, “LOL.”

Ana Kasparian, co-host of “The Young Turks,” offered her straightforward reaction on social media, simply stating “Good.”

Mixed Reactions

Nick Fuentes, a far-right commentator, echoed a similar sentiment online, writing, “Good.” Meanwhile, Cenk Uygur, co-founder of “The Young Turks,” humorously imagined Graham attempting to influence deities in the afterlife, saying, “Lindsey Graham is moving on to the next stage of his journey and trying to convince Hades to attack Zeus and Poseidon.”

Former MSNBC analyst Steve Schmidt characterized Graham as “a lonely, unprincipled man who betrayed his country for power and attention,” whilst praising acknowledgments of Graham’s work from allies, including former President Donald Trump. Trump noted on Truth Social that Graham “always worked,” referring to him as “a true American patriot” and expressed sorrow over his passing, stating, “Lindsey will be sorely missed!!! So sad!”

As the news unfolds, Graham’s office has yet to respond to requests for comments.
