(NEXSTAR) – Hatch Sound Machines sold at Target, Walmart, Buy Buy Baby and other retailers nationwide have been recalled due to an electric shock hazard.

“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power adapters sold with the Rest 1st Generation sound machine and contact Hatch to receive a free replacement power adapter,” the release states. “Consumers should unplug the cord of the recalled power adapter, cut the cord, take a photo of the adapter showing the model number and the cut cord, upload the photo, and provide their name and mailing address to: www.hatch.co/adapterrecall“
If you have a first-generation hatch, check your adapter. The recalled adapters have the model number CYAP05 050100U, the amperage “1.0A,” “Jiangsu Chenyang Electron Co. LTD,” and “Made in China” printed in black near the plug.
