Hopkins, dressed in a green workout top and leggings set, announced her pregnancy on Instagram four weeks ago, sparking questions about the baby’s father.
Hopkins, 26, is reportedly expecting a child with Nationals slugger and former Yankee Joey Gallo, but she denied rumors that Raiders owner Mark Davis is the father.
Rumours circulated on social media earlier this week that Davis, 69, is the father after the Raiders owner and Hopkins were spotted sitting next to each other at a 2022 football game in Las Vegas.
The misinformation was then spread by NFL aggregator Dov Kleiman in a now-deleted post on X.
Ms Hopkins then contacted X to explain her pregnancy.
“The reports that Mark Davis is the father of my child are completely unfounded,” Hopkins wrote to X on Monday. “I was photographed sitting next to him at a 2022 game and have endured false rumors of a romantic relationship ever since. I was simply a guest sitting in the owner’s box with other friends.”
“These ongoing media reports have had a negative impact on what should be one of our happiest days. Joey and I look forward to welcoming our baby in the fall.”
Gallo, in his first season with Washington, is batting .150 with four home runs.
He has not spoken publicly about the pregnancy.
