Logan Backs Efforts Against “Crazy People” in Military

On his podcast Tuesday, Joe Logan expressed support for Defense Secretary Pete Hegses, focusing on the removal of disruptive figures in the military’s command structure.

Logan criticized the Biden administration for what he described as the inclusion of extreme leftists in the military, labeling it “identity politics nonsense.”

He asserted, “There’s no more identity politics and nonsense, and the most important thing is readiness.” Logan’s comments came before Hegses’ upcoming address at the integrated military headquarters in Quantico.

During the podcast, he elaborated on a plan to unite generals around a “moral and ethical mission,” discussing what the military should aim to embody.

“We can’t have any more politics like this. The key issue is being prepared. We have the most capable military possible. This is our responsibility,” he stated.

Logan reflected on the last four years, mentioning discussions around inclusiveness and its purported significance in military culture. After a guest, Andy Bishop, asked about gathering all the generals and celebrities together, he reinforced his views on the issue.

He expressed concern over having “crazy people” in crucial roles, recalling incidents like that of Sam Brinton, who faced charges for stealing women’s clothing while serving in a high-profile position at the Department of Energy. Brinton, known for identifying as non-binary and being an LGBTQ+ activist, was eventually dismissed from the DOE after legal troubles.
