Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shows off his rippling muscles in an impressive shirtless workout and jokes that he is preparing for President-elect Donald Trump's confirmation hearing as his nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) said.

The tricky maneuver put the soles of Kennedy's feet just inches from his training partner's face, but the 70-year-old was able to turn around and dismount.

Kennedy shared the video with the caption, “Practicing moves for confirmation hearing.”

The video is one of many that Kennedy has posted of himself working out at the gym, and he has spoken out about his good health after being selected to lead the health service under the incoming Trump administration. It's advertised.

Still, Kennedy's nomination has drawn widespread criticism for his previous outspoken statements, including his vaccine skepticism and controversial comments about the coronavirus.

On the campaign trail, Mr. Trump vowed to “make drugs run wild” against Mr. Kennedy, who has waged a long war against institutions such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Before Kennedy can be formally appointed as America's health czar, he must first be approved by the Republican-controlled Senate Finance Committee.
