Defense Secretary Pete Hegses has transformed the Green Room into a pentagonal makeup studio, allowing senior officials to prepare before appearing on screen.

“A countertop was installed inside by the Washington Head Office Service Facilities Services,” the spokesperson added.
CBS News noted that the renovation could cost thousands of dollars, and the Pentagon has found responses Rejected in the post on Social Platform X. Officials stated they are cautious about alterations to the room.
“For this update, we intentionally opted for some affordable, practical solutions that offer secretaries and other VIPs the necessary support and space for engaging with the media on camera,” the spokesperson remarked.
Hegseth, formerly a co-host on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends Weekend,” has been a key figure in media coverage during his initial months as head of the Department of Defense.
Recently, Hegseth has become entangled in another controversy regarding the use of shared communications, bringing about Attack plan. He faced criticism last month for disclosing sensitive details through an encrypted app after a journalist was mistakenly included in a group chat with senior Trump officials.
While some Democrats have urged his resignation, his supporters within Trump’s circle remain largely unwavering.
Hegseth’s guidance is under examination as several senior advisors have left the department or have been reassigned amidst investigations into information leaks.
