‘Heinous’ sicko left cats’ heads on homeowner’s mailbox: police

The accused was arrested after the two beheaded cats remained in the Florida homeowner's mailbox, according to officers.

An investigation into “heinous acts of violence” against “innocent animals” began when an unidentified homeowner in Bonita Springs found his head in a cardboard box above his mailbox. Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marcheno said.

It was not clear why the homeowners were targeted or who the cat belonged to.

However, 37-year-old Robert James Luther III was found to be in the area at the time and was arrested for fishing nearby. The search warrant led to “deceased mobile phone video” that led to “deceased mobile phone video.”

The motive for the intrusive crime was not immediately clear, even if he was known to the homeowner.

However, the suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated stalker and two counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

Luther was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated animal cruelty and two counts of aggravated stalker.

“Heirish violence, especially against innocent animals, is unacceptable, and criminals will face serious consequences to the fullest extent of the law,” Sheriff Marseno said.

“The efforts of multiple units ensured that individuals with the disease were trapped behind the bar before they could hurt others,” he added.
