Greg Poulos and Angie Bertos were walking to the front porch in Glenview around 10pm after dinner as the car was getting excited. WBBM-TV reported.
“I have always given them whatever they want by my Father, and they have given them what they want, and your life is just far more valuable.”
Police said three men approached them, pulled out their guns and demanded their belongings, the station said.
Bertosus told WBBM “Run the man running with his gun pointed and screaming at us to give him everything.”
The couple did just that.
The video shows one of the robbers telling me to “give me all the s**t.” Pourus and Bertosus immediately threw their phones and keys on the ground. Bertoussus also gave up on his wallet, the station said.
“You got it. You got it. Here, take it. Take it. Take it. Take it all. Take it all. Take it all. Take it all. Take it all. Take it all. Here, you have it. Honestly to God, the guys were heard in a clip telling the robbery, WBBM reported.
“I started throwing shoes and coats,” Berthos noted to the station in the aftermath. The video shows them removing the jacket for the scammer.
Poulos told WBBM, “I always give my father whatever they want, and what they want. Your life is far more valuable.”
But the nightmare didn’t end there.
The video immediately said, “Not showing us lying on our stomachs, pointing the gun at us. I thought, ‘Oh, how about this ending today?'” Bertosus told the station, adding, “For a while, they were standing there and running away.”
Police told WBBM that the robber ran out of the neighbourhood in a Jaguar SUV.
