Henry Cejudo tells Trump supporters not to be afraid

Former two-weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo spoke at a pro-Trump rally just under two days before the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Cejudo spoke at a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spoke primarily about Trump risking his life in the fight for freedom. Speaking on Friday, Cejudo said he never expected another assassination attempt to take down the president would happen that Sunday.

The fighter repeatedly pointed out that Trump's life was in danger and that as an outsider he posed a threat to the system.

“A non-political person,” he said of Trump. [put] They are risking their lives to save their country.”

In his speech X On the page, Cejudo made ominous comments about an “attempted assassination of the president” and told rally attendees that Trump was risking his own life so Americans could feel safe criticizing the government.

“He came so close to being assassinated for the freedom of our country. Don't be afraid, don't be afraid to go against your own government.”

He continued, “I am literally putting my life on the line for this great country.”

“We used to be trying to protect our public schools, now we're protecting our kids from our public schools.”

The former flyweight and bantamweight champion said the United States as a whole is at risk of losing its freedoms and that “it may not be long before we become another Venezuela.”

Cejudo, who named her daughter America out of patriotism, also spoke about her concerns about gender theory and the promotion of transgender ideas in schools.

“Before we were trying to protect the public schools, now we're protecting kids from the public schools,” he continued.[Now] teacher [is] “They tell me you could be a cardboard box, or if you're a boy you could be a girl, or you could be He-Man,” Cejudo laughed.

Trump later gave a speech recalling Cejudo. on stage “I'm a little shorter than him, but he's better than me in every other way,” she said, before going in for an affectionate hug.

Cejudo repeated most of his previous comments but added, “You were willing to put your life at risk. You have no reason to do so, but you're doing it for the people.”
