Senator Rand Paul is launched The #NeverNikki campaign claims South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has “no business near the White House.”
“I don't think informed and knowledgeable libertarians and conservatives can support Nikki Haley,” Paul said. Posted With X.
Paul said in his announcement video that he was “not ready to make a decision yet” about his endorsement. So this morning, I'm declaring that I'm definitely not Nikki. ”
He continued:
We have seen her attitude towards our interventions abroad.I've seen her get involved with the military industrial complex and be paid $8 million to be part of the team, but that she thinks she should be registered to use the internet. and I also saw her implying that people post ideas anonymously…I don't think she gets it Our Republic is Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, [James] Madison, John Jay et al. People who post regularly. Fearing the government, they routinely posted anonymously. And I think it's in every libertarian-leaning conservative mind that she doesn't really understand that, or that she doesn't think that you should register through the government to use the internet in any way. I think she should be disqualified.
As I look around the field, I don't think I have a first choice yet, but one thing I do know is that please count me as a candidate. #Nevernikki! pic.twitter.com/0RjbBhnwdc

Paul famously posted a series of devastating attacks against the former UN ambassador, who then flipped out. saying She had no intention of standing up to her former boss, Donald Trump.
“Mr. Haley supports Mr. Biden and Mr. McConnell and those who continue the forever war on funding the war in Ukraine.” “Her thirst for war is so strong that she actually said, 'I'm tired of talking about the Department of Defense.' I want the Department of Crime.”
“She personally received millions of dollars from arms dealers profiting from the war. This is a conflict of interest and confirms her enthusiasm for foreign military intervention,” he said. Ta. “This position is not new either. As governor of South Carolina, she donated tax dollars to the same arms dealers, and when she left office, they showered her with campaign funds and board seats. Ta.”
Haley earns hundreds of thousands of dollars as a director of the second-largest defense contractor and maintains warm relations with Boeing and other defense contractors.
Paul continued, “While most others were denouncing the mistakes of the past 20 years and fighting for an America First foreign policy, Nikki Haley criticized John McCain and Lindsey Graham for foreign policy.” “We were in agreement and declaring them as policy allies.”
He said Haley “believes in almost unlimited foreign aid.” We have already sent over $100 billion to Ukraine that we don't need, and she wants even more. But this is also not new.in her book respectfullyShe wrote, “Humanitarian assistance will always be a priority for the United States. We will always be generous.”
Paul continued, “But Nikki Haley's 'generosity' with people's tax dollars and her support for all forms of foreign aid in the face of $34 trillion in debt is neither liberal nor conservative. ” he said.

Paul took note of Haley's comments supporting government regulation of free speech on the internet, saying, “Beyond the issue of endless wars, Nikki Haley's lack of respect for free speech violates the Constitution. Shocking for those who believe. [She] We believe all Internet posters should be registered and verified. ”
“This is contrary to the Free American Republic, where the Founders anonymously wrote the Federalist Papers and routinely posted newspaper articles and pamphlets under pseudonyms,” he said. “People who don't fully believe in free speech or who want endless wars have no place anywhere near the White House.”
Paul also attacked Haley's career as UN ambassador, saying that Haley “routinely praised the mission of the United Nations, the accomplishments it achieved, and the people who run it.”

“I believe the United Nations is doing valuable work,” he said, quoting Haley. She's talking about your tax dollars, since the United States is the main funder of the United Nations. She repeatedly praised the UN Secretary-General (and former president of the Socialist International), declaring that they were 'like-minded'. ”
Paul also criticized Haley for not agreeing with President Trump's foreign policy, saying she “opposed President Trump's decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria and Afghanistan and defended the continued U.S. presence in both countries.” Ta.
Paul then asked about Haley's record as governor, noting that Haley “advocated for a higher gas tax, a national vaccine registry, and never lifted a finger on school choice.”
Haley has faced criticism in the past for flip-flopping and advertising positions that contradict her record. She recently made comments during her campaign acknowledging that she “changes her personality” from state to state.
“The structure of [the primary] It's really amazing. Iowa starts. My personality changes and I go to New Hampshire. '' she said on PBS about the Republican primary process.
“They'll continue and by the time they get to South Carolina, they'll be even bigger for Super Tuesday,” she added. There's something really cool about this process. ”
Chris Christie, who withdrew from the race on Wednesday, was caught up in a “hot mic” moment attacking the money Haley's campaign wasted.
