I don't know if you heard beforehand, but Saturday night's game between the Chiefs and Dolphins was one of the coldest in National Football League history.
Did they mention that at all? Did they mention the cold?
It was the storyline of an otherwise boring game in which the Chiefs breezed past a Dolphins team that would probably have been back on a plane to South Florida within minutes of the game ending.

There were plenty of sights and sounds to see on a night that fans will look back on for years to come.
Especially for fans who lost toes due to frostbite…
Here are some of the coldest moments from an unusually cold night in Arrowhead.
5. Your water bottle froze as soon as you took it out of the fridge.
It's not every day you encounter temperatures that completely change the purpose of your refrigerator, but that's what happened Saturday night.
A video began touring a refrigerator full of Arrowhead beverages. However, instead of cooling the drink nicely, it kept it completely cold.
Check it out:
That's what you want to happen to your $10 bottle of water: it quickly becomes completely undrinkable.
But I would say it's hypnotic to watch.
4. Shirtless fans
I knew it would happen, and so did you. Despite warnings of polar-like temperatures, some fans were sure to take off their tarps and head out.
These brave men – and only men would do this – are the most ardent hardcore fans.
A guy like this is definitely cold-blooded…and we mean it literally.
This man could suffer long-term health complications from this. To make matters worse for him, the Dolphins lost.
If you're going to carelessly risk hypothermia, you want your team to win.
Or at least turn it into a game.
3. Andy Reid's wife is all about fur

Andy Reid's wife collapsed on the field at the end of the game, but she may be the ultimate first lady of football.
She jumped into the frozen tundra of Arrowhead Stadium looking like a French fur trader.
Look away, PETA. You won't like this.
No one knows if it's real or faux fur, but honestly, who cares? That's what you want from the wife of a Super Bowl-winning coach.
I feel like Mrs. Lombardi would have dressed like this in this situation. A nice throwback feeling.
I tried digging…now I'll look for something I didn't dig…
2. Taylor Swift's Awful Horrible Dance
This had less to do with the cold and more to do with the fact that it gave me severe chills.
Cold, chills…see, that's important.
Late in the game, when it became clear the Dolphins had no chance of winning, the Peacock staff said, “It's Taylor time.”
They showed this clip of them dancing in the stands about four times, and every time I saw it, I shivered more than a shirtless Dolphins fan.
The real chills may have come from the example Peacock showed of Jason Garrett repeating blunt comments about the same number of times that probably should have stayed in his head.
Well, who are you kidding? Jason Garrett's unhelpful comments were far more numerous.

Well, our big winner is…
1. Andy Reid's Frozen Lip Ferret
Was there anything else going on?
We all knew Andy Reid had the warmest upper lip in the stadium, but the moment we saw that trademark soup cooler glittering with icicles, this is the perfect way to sum up this game. I was convinced that it was a great image.
I mean, look at this.
Look at it! ! !
Absolutely outstanding. If they're going to build a statue of Andy Reid in Kansas City — which doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility — it should be based on that image.

Hopefully, after the game, I'll have a chance to grab a burger and a Naggie and defrost my Cookie Duster a little to celebrate the win.
