Copenhagen Consensus Chairman Bjorn Lomborg talks about promoting electric vehicles and the huge impact it will have on the US
Rental car giant Hertz announced Thursday it will sell about 20,000 electric cars from its fleet in the United States.
The offloading of the vehicles will reduce the company's global EV fleet by one-third, Hertz said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

“The company expects this action to better balance supply against the expected demand for EVs,” the company said.

Hertz said it expects EV sales to occur “in an orderly manner during 2024.” Unloading began late last year.
