On CNN International’s “First Move” broadcast on Wednesday, Hawaii Gov. Josh Green (D) commented on President Joe Biden’s failure to see a doctor after his debate performance and his last doctor’s visit back in February, saying, “I’m a doctor and I hate going to the doctor, so it doesn’t surprise me. He’s just so busy.”
host Paula Newton asked:[T]The White House has reiterated that the President has not seen a doctor since February. He is not just the President, he is your friend. As a doctor, what would you say to him?”
Green responded: “I’m a doctor and I hate going to the doctor, so I’m not surprised. He’s very busy. And I would say, of course, everyone will evaluate each of these candidates and they should, absolutely they should, but it’s about their values and what they can accomplish.” [that matter] “If the president himself feels unfit, if he feels he can’t do what it takes to be president, he will step aside from this election and we will respect that.”
