Hezbollah Member Dies in Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

Beirut:

A teenager was found dead with a slit throat in the Nizamuddin area of Delhi. Reports indicate that he had recently tried to convince one of his sisters to maintain a relationship with a friend. The victim, MD Saad, 18, had a history of previous criminal involvement, according to police.

The authorities identified the suspects as a rickshaw driver and several individuals, including Altamash, who is also 18, along with Faizan (22), Dilshad (18), and Abrar (18).

In other news, Lebanon’s health ministry reported that an Israeli drone strike on vehicles along Arnon Yomore Road resulted in one fatality. The victim has been named as Muhammad Ali Marrowi, linked to Hezbollah in the Nabatier district of southern Lebanon.

Sources noted that, within the last 48 hours, three Hezbollah members had died and another was injured due to distinct Israeli strikes in the same region.

Additionally, Israeli forces executed multiple strikes on a prefabricated structure occupied by the Watawano Association in the village of Hura and further attacked another site in Adaise.

Curiously, drones also targeted Kfar Kila, deploying stun grenades, and similar devices were dropped at the wreckage of the Aldahila School in southern Lebanon.

This occurred despite a ceasefire agreement established on November 27, 2024, which aimed to quell hostilities stemming from the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

On Wednesday, a drone strike reportedly targeted a Hezbollah member’s vehicle in the Wadi al-Fujair area, confirmed by Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).

The Ministry of Health’s Public Health Emergency Business Centre verified one casualty as a result of the strike. Civil defense officials mentioned that the incident ignited a fire, with the bodies transported to a local hospital.

While a truce mediated by the US and France remains largely intact, sporadic violence persists, as Israel claims that such actions are necessary to counter perceived threats from Hezbollah.

Conversely, the Lebanese government, along with various Arab nations, has accused Israel of ongoing ceasefire violations, pointing to Israel’s continued military presence in key areas of southern Lebanon despite withdrawal provisions.
