US officials have apprehended the leading MS-13 figure on the US East Coast, as announced by the FBI on Thursday.
Authorities detained the 24-year-old suspect in Woodbridge, Virginia, located in southern Washington, though officials from DC have not yet revealed the suspect’s identity. They indicate that he is among the top three leaders of the US MS-13 gang.
Attorney General Pam Bondy and FBI Director Kash Patel were present during the arrests this past Thursday morning.
Trump shared the announcement, calling it “a significant event!”
