One of the biggest criticisms of the Kamala Harris campaign is that she doesn't give many interviews, and voters are left in the dark about her vague and ever-changing positions and policies.
Her campaign appears to be aware of this complaint and is working to reverse course in the final weeks before the election. In a bold attempt to reach out to moderates, Harris sat down for an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier on Wednesday.

“It was obviously a difficult interview. [Harris] “She wasn't put in an easy position,” Stu says, adding that Baier “asked tough questions,” “followed up” and even “talked down to her when she tried to go into nonsense.” He even pointed out that he had interrupted her.
As for Harris, Stu said she took a “filibuster” approach, or “let me get through this so I can say I did it” approach, resulting in “nothing really happened. “It's a very long answer that doesn't really get across,” he said.
The interview started with the topic of immigration. Stew said Beyer was “aggressive” on the subject, cutting Harris off as she tried to repeat a “nine-minute word salad” that included criticizing Trump for opposing the border security bill.
While they were talking about the issue of illegal immigration, Baier said:[illegal immigrants] who was released [from jail]That led to the murders,” even asking Harris if he “wanted to apologize” to three specific female victims, including Laken Riley.
Mr. Harris expressed sympathy but did not apologize. Later, when Mr. Baier played a video of Alexis Nungaray, whose young daughter Jocelyn Nungaray was murdered by an illegal Venezuelan immigrant, Mr. Harris ultimately said he was sorry for Nungaray's death, but the final He returned to criticizing Trump.
According to Stu, Harris's “apology” was similar to “how you would apologize if your neighbor's cat ran into the street and got hit by a car.”
“She took no responsibility,” he says.
The next topic they discussed was the controversy surrounding the transgender movement. Baier's exact question was: “Do you still support using tax dollars to help prison inmates and detained illegal aliens transition to a different gender?”
He even played a clip in which Harris actually said he was in favor of it.
Harris apparently fell into Baier's trap, responding, “I follow the law,'' a Trump-era law that allowed such surgeries to be performed if deemed medically necessary. Trump himself insisted that he had followed the law.
“She is now a prisoner of the law,” even though “she is running for president of the United States with dozens of laws to reform,” she said, revealing an apparent contradiction and “questioning the cost of transgender surgery.” “You can't show that,” he chides Stu. “It’s really evasive and it’s really bad.”
But perhaps one of Kamala's worst moments in the interview was when the subject of “turning the page” came up. That's been a big talking point for Harris this election season.
Mr. Baier played a video of Ms. Harris claiming that she would not change anything about Joe Biden's presidency, contradicting her statement that she needed to turn the page and start a new chapter.
Harris countered that in order to move our country away from President Trump, we need to look back at the past 10 years. She argued that President Trump is unfit for service, unstable and dangerous.
“For 60% of the last 10 years, we've had a Democrat as president. Donald Trump was in office for four years,” Stu corrected, adding that the Baier trap really “pissed me off.”
But Stu says her answer got even worse. For a more in-depth analysis of the interview, watch the clip above.
