Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma revealed that Hilary Duff had a vasectomy while she was pregnant with their fourth and third children.
The 36-year-old singer, who has been married to Duff since 2019, documented his surgical procedure in photos and videos she shared on her Instagram Story on Monday.
“Today is vasectomy day!!!!!,” the Grammy winner wrote over an image of herself sitting in her car and smiling.

Koma also showed off what she was wearing in a mirror selfie, apparently taken in a closet, and wrote, “Vasectomy fit check.”

The musician was photographed wearing olive green shorts, a button-down short-sleeve shirt with the Budweiser logo, a matching Budweiser trucker hat, gray socks, and light beige slide sandals.
Koma shared a video of a doctor appearing to examine her and joked, “Have you ever worked on something this small before?”
“No, it’s actually not small,” the doctor said.

The record producer then shared a mirror selfie in a hospital gown, blue hairnet and blue socks. He wrote that he had “just taken some Valium” and was “feeling high.”
After the procedure, Koma posted a selfie of herself smiling while wearing a hairnet and hospital gown. he wrote with the addition of a mistletoe filter. “Honestly, it’s not that bad. It certainly feels better than going to the regular dentist.”

Koma shared another photo of Duff walking her home wearing a pink jacket and smiling. “Hot nurse,” he wrote.
The singer then uploaded a selfie of herself relaxing in bed while recovering from surgery. She added: “She’s also very high and has never taken drugs in her life, which is amazing.”

The Lizzie McGuire alumnus and Koma have daughters Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 2. Duff is also the mother of son Luca Cruz, 11, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Duff announced she was pregnant with her fourth child in December by sharing a family holiday card. The image on the card showed Duff, Koma, Banks, Violet and Luca wearing pajamas and holding their bellies.

The front of the card said, “So much for a quiet night. Love, Duff Bear Comrie crew.” Koma was born Matthew Bear.

Duff and Koma began dating in 2017 and tied the knot on December 21, 2019 at their home in Los Angeles.
The How I Met Your Father star celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Instagram, sharing a slideshow of photos featuring the couple.
“Sometimes I think it’s the kids, then the dog, then me, but that’s not the case. I forgot about the chickens… Happy 4 babies!” she wrote.
