Hilary Swank Celebrates Her 51st Birthday with Family

Hilary Swank marked her 51st birthday with a heartfelt family outing.

The actress enjoyed a cozy celebration with her husband, Philip Schneider, and their two-year-old twins, Ohm and Aya, at Alpemare Beach in Italy.

A photographer captured moments of the family engaging in activities like building sandcastles, wading in the water, lounging in the sun, and riding bikes together.

Swank welcomed her twins in April 2023.

“It wasn’t easy, but the boy (and girl!) was worth it,” she reflected on her experience. “Happy Easter!”

The “Million Dollar Baby” actress married Schneider in August 2018 and shared her hopes for starting a family a few years later.

“This is something I’ve been hoping for a long time,” she expressed during her October 2022 appearance on Good Morning America, discussing her pregnancy.

She added, “My next thing to do is to be a mom, and not just one, but two.”

Later that day, she shared with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that “it feels good” to be a mother. In an interview with Drew Barrymore, she mentioned her twins were scheduled to arrive on her late father’s birthday, which she found remarkable.

Swank got emotional when referring to her babies as a “miracle,” but not everyone responded positively. Some commenters pointed out the challenges of being older parents, suggesting she might face difficulties in the future. In her defense, actress Emmy Rossum responded sharply, telling the critics to “Gfy,” which stands for “Go F*** Yourself.”

When Page Six caught up with her at the 2023 Golden Globes, she mentioned feeling “great” during her pregnancy. Swank described motherhood as “extraordinary,” far beyond what she had imagined.

Since the twins’ birth, she has kept their lives mostly private, although she occasionally shares glimpses of her family on social media without revealing their faces.
