Holly Madison has opened up about her uncomfortable experiences with Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy Magazine. In a recent episode of Owen Thiere’s “In Your Dreams” podcast, she discussed her aversion to group sexual activities.
“It’s a whole different situation when others are in the room,” Madison remarked. “Honestly, I didn’t enjoy it at all. It was pretty clear how much I disliked it,” the former “Girls Next Door” star recalled.
However, she added that her interactions with Hefner on a one-on-one basis felt much more normal. The 45-year-old noted that their significant age difference didn’t deter her feelings toward him.
Madison admitted, “There were moments when I felt I had to say something silly like, ‘Oh, old balls,’ just to play along.” She quipped how some people might have concerns about aging in that way, but she hadn’t observed anything of the sort.
Previously, she described her sex life with Hefner as “hell” and “traumatic.” She stated, “He’s not going to move. It was like dealing with a bulging log in the bed.”
Madison indicated that the women at the mansion wanted to get through the experience, stating they thought it was a chore, one that could lead to being kicked out if not completed swiftly. “Everyone wanted to rush through it,” she added.
Madison’s relationship with Hefner spanned from 2001 to 2008. He passed away in September 2017 at the age of 91. Since then, she married Pasquale Rotella in 2013 and has two children, a daughter named Rainbow and a son named Wood.
