Homan completely rejects claims of accepting a $50,000 bribe from anyone.

Tom Homan, a White House Border Patrol official, has firmly rejected claims that he accepted a $50,000 bribe from an undercover FBI agent promising a government contract. During an appearance on NewsNation’s “Cuomo” Town Hall, he stressed that he has never taken that amount from anyone.

When asked how the allegations gained traction, Homan expressed uncertainty but noted that his company has faced numerous headlines regarding its purported ties to government contracts in recent months.

“I stayed away from discussions about contracts or financial issues,” he remarked, recalling his previous work at a consulting firm. “What’s often overlooked is that I took a significant pay cut to return and serve my country; I’m not making money off this job.”

Despite the public scrutiny, Homan stated he isn’t bothered by the criticism. “I don’t care what people think of me. I never have,” he said. “Because I know who I am. I work for the greatest president in this country, and we do the right thing every day.”

According to a recent MSNBC report, Homan was under investigation by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) for allegedly accepting cash from an FBI agent posing as a businessman in return for promising government contracts during President Trump’s second term.

In a statement, high-ranking Justice Department officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel, argued that the credibility of the investigation was questionable, noting it began during Biden’s presidency. They mentioned that a subsequent probe under the Trump administration “found no credible evidence of criminal activity,” leading to the investigation’s closure.

After the MSNBC report, Homan maintained he had “not committed any criminal activity,” although he did not outright deny accepting cash payments. “Look, I didn’t do anything criminal or illegal,” he emphasized. “I’m relieved the FBI and DOJ clarified that nothing illegal occurred.”

In a previous interview with NewsNation’s Libby Dean, Homan labeled the allegations as “bullsh*t.”

During a Sunday interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Vice President Vance strongly defended Homan, asserting that he “did not take bribes” but avoided directly addressing whether Homan received and kept the $50,000 payment.
