First on FOX: Ministry of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced plans to rework the Systematic Alien Verification (SAVE) program for Qualifications, an online database used by law enforcement agencies to identify the non-citizen status of individuals in the United States.
DHS shared exclusive details with Fox News Digital Tuesday. This includes removing fees for database searches, streamlining mass immigration status checks, consolidating criminal history, and creating an easy-to-use interface to “prevent illegal exploitation of the interests of non-citizen taxpayers.”
Founded in 1987, the Save program allows local law enforcement officers and various government agencies to enter biographies and non-citizen documents such as I-94 numbers, Sevis IDs and Airion Numbers to raise immigration information about related individuals.

“Illegal aliens have misused outdated systems to fraudulent Americans and contaminate elections,” a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “This improved save system will allow government officials to quickly check their status and stop eligibility and voter fraud.”
DHS will work with Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the US Citizen Immigration Services (USCIS) to maximize effectiveness and update the program.

The move to overhaul the save program comes after the Trump administration became modest with federal judges in a massive deportation. Very recently The Supreme Court has stopped The removal of the regime of Venezuelan immigrants under the alien enemy of the 18th century.
However, the highest courts did not issue a complete suspension. Rather, the ruling said that Venezuelan immigrants held at the Texas Detention Center should not be removed “until this court’s further order.”
