On Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Christie Norm will tour Salvador's infamous terrorism confinement center. There, hundreds of illegal criminal aliens are in custody after the Trump administration expelled them earlier this month.
According to a Homeland Security statement, Noem will tour the prison with Justice Minister Gustavo Viratro before meeting El Salvador President Naive Buquere. Noem's visit is part of a three-day trip that also sees trips to Colombia and Mexico.
Bukere opened a prison in 2023 to crack down on the mighty street gangs that have caused mayhem and mayhem, as El Salvador opened prisons. The facility has eight vast pavilions, capable of carrying up to 40,000 inmates. 65-70 prisoners are packed into each cell.
Inmates are never allowed to go outside and cannot have visitors. There are no workshops or educational programs.

A senior Trump administration official confirmed this month to Fox News that a total of 261 illegal aliens had been deported to El Salvador on March 15th. Most of them were deported through the alien enemy laws of 1798.
More than 100 immigrants removed the Venezuelans via Title 8, while the other 21 were members of Salvador's MS-13 gang, officials added. The two were the masterminds of the MS-13, and were “special cases” in El Salvador.

A video released by the El Salvador government showed the man being tied up by his hands and ankles after the arrival of the exile, leaving the plane on the airport runway lined with officers heavily armed with riot equipment, and the man was tied up.

The man was later kneeling on the ground as he shaved his entire white prison shorts, a T-shirt, socks and a clogged rubber before turning into a prison all-white uniform.

El Salvador is operating under an emergency that suspends fundamental rights for nearly three years, as Buquer treats street gangs. To date, around 84,000 people have been arrested, accused of gang ties, and in many cases jailed without justice.
Bukere offered to keep US deportation in prison when he was the US Secretary of State. Marco Rubio visited in February.

In a March 16 post on the True Society, President Donald Trump wrote that the US will “not forget” Buquel's partnership and said he “thank you to the leader for understanding this horrifying situation.
