A homeowner in Monroe County, Michigan used a crossbow to fight off two suspected intruders just after midnight Tuesday morning.
WLNS reported Residents shot and killed one of the alleged intruders, after which the two suspects fled the scene.
The suspected intruder who was shot was identified only as a “32-year-old male from Newport” and had to go to the hospital to have the arrow surgically removed. He was taken into custody while recovering.
FOX 2 Detroit noticed The second alleged intruder, also a 41-year-old man from Newport, was found near the crime scene and arrested.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office believes the incident stemmed from a “previous fight” between the suspect and the homeowner.
