Despicable Hospital Worker Arrested for Child Pornography

An Ohio hospital employee has been arrested after police uncovered a shocking collection of child pornography, described as the “most alarming” they had ever encountered. Benjamin Naylor, 32, from Deer Park, reportedly expressed in messages that he believed child rape should be legalized.

Naylor’s downfall began when he engaged with an online vigilante group named Predator Poachers, posing as a 13-year-old boy. “Age is just a number,” he reportedly told one of the decoys. He later confessed during a lengthy live-streamed encounter, where he was exchanging explicit material, before he was apprehended at his workplace in Cincinnati.

Authorities later arrested him and discovered disturbing videos and images on his phone, including material involving a one-month-old child. In one particularly harrowing video, a child’s cries for help can be heard.

Cincinnati Police Detective Mary Brown, who has extensive experience in such investigations, commented on the case, saying, “The images Mr. Naylor took were some of the worst I’ve ever seen, and the conversations were disturbing.”

In an online chat, Naylor reportedly shared a fantasy about meeting a father and son for sex, further highlighting the grotesque nature of his communications. “I’ve never seen a chat like that,” Brown noted. “It was some of the most alarming stuff my unit has encountered.”

Naylor pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including eight counts related to minors and one concerning unlawful behavior involving a minor. He was sentenced to a prison term of seven to nine and a half years.

Interestingly, prosecutors indicated that Naylor did not feel he had done anything wrong, expressing a desire to have child rape decriminalized. His defense attorney claimed that Naylor had mental health issues and lacked understanding of the wrongness of his behavior.

During sentencing, Judge Wende Cross addressed these claims, stating, “[Your diagnosis] does not condone this behavior, nor does it diminish the harm to the children depicted in this work.” The judge emphasized that Naylor was an adult responsible for his choices, which spanned across nine counts of criminal behavior.

Beyond his prison term, Naylor is required to participate in treatment and will be registered as a second-degree sex offender. He will also be under supervision as a manager for five years following his release.
