Hostage Families Release Video of Hamas Abducting 5 Female Israeli Soldiers

The families of five female Israeli soldiers still held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip have released a three-minute video of their abduction during the October 7 attack, using footage recovered from body cameras and smartphones. was published.

hostage name, according to The Times of Israel members are Lili Arbag, Karina Aliyev, Agam Berger, Daniela Gilboa, and Naama Levi. Breitbart News won’t publish the footage directly, but you can watch it below. Link.

The heavily edited video shows the women standing or sitting next to a concrete wall with their hands bound. It was probably Israel’s Nahal Oz military base that was overrun for several hours on the morning of October 7th.

Some of them have bloody faces. One tries to tell the terrorists that she has friends in Palestine. The gunmen tell them to be quiet. The terrorists then say Islamic prayers to the women they have captured and force them into a jeep.

There are also scenes that hint at sexual abuse. According to the subtitles, one of the terrorists says that the Israeli prisoner is a woman who “can get pregnant.” Another terrorist tells a bloody and beaten Israeli female hostage, “You are so beautiful.”

The Hostage and Missing Families Forum, which represents families of hostages, added the following statement on Wednesday:

We seriously considered and searched for the words to express how heartbroken, shocked and outraged we were by the new kidnapping video of the five female guards. There are really no words to describe what they did or how they did it. The sadistic, diabolical, barbaric suffering our women endured while being treated like prizes, trophies, mere objects to be doled out with. All the while, they admired their inhuman and terrifying feats. All we know is that a human does not have to spend a single moment with them, let alone his 229 days. It has never been clearer how urgent it is to bring them home. now!

Negotiations for a ceasefire that would include the release of hostages collapsed over Hamas’ insistence that the ceasefire included a commitment by Israel to stop the war. Hamas has not yet agreed to release all the hostages in exchange for such a promise, and Israel argues that allowing Hamas to survive would ensure a repeat of October 7.

update: Israeli President Isaac Herzog responded in a statement:

Five young women are being dragged away by deadly Hamas terrorists. The video shows how five young female soldiers from observation posts guarding towns and kibbutzim in southern Israel were beaten, threatened with rape and brutally held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza on October 7. It shows a terrifying moment.

This video is being shared by a brave family and we continue to give them all our heart and love.

Lili, Karina, Agam, Daniela and Naama are all still held captive by Hamas, and we are fighting to bring them and all other hostages (128 people in total) home.

The world must open its eyes to this atrocity. Those who care about women’s rights must speak out. Everyone who believes in freedom must speak out and do everything in their power to bring all hostages home now.
