Breitbart News is set to organize a policy event featuring Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin in November. This comes as the Trump administration continues to progress on various fronts to implement its America First policies.
Both events, led by Breitbart News’ Washington bureau chief Matthew Boyle, will take place in Washington, D.C. Duffy’s event is scheduled for Friday, November 7th, followed by Zeldin’s on Monday, November 10th.
“We’re genuinely thrilled about the next step in our successful event series, with Director Duffy and Director Zeldin joining us for a significant gathering in November,” stated Larry Soloff, CEO of Breitbart News. “Breitbart News serves as a vital hub for significant news and events both domestically and internationally.”
“Secretaries Duffy and Zeldin are vital members of the President’s Cabinet, essential for carrying out the main elements of the America First policy,” Boyle remarked in a statement.
“As we move forward with this series of events, we believe there are no better candidates than these two admirable leaders to showcase President Donald Trump’s principal policy focuses on issues like the economy, national security, energy, and trade,” he added. “We are eagerly anticipating hosting both in November.”
For these policy events, Breitbart News is collaborating with CGCN Group and ALFA Institute. “CGCN, along with ALFA, takes pride in supporting the Breitbart Policy Dialogue with the President’s key allies, Secretary Sean Duffy and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin,” said CGCN Senior Vice President and former White House Press Secretary Harrison Fields ahead of the discussions. “Leadership from DOT and EPA is reducing bureaucracy, emphasizing innovation and safety, and advancing America First.” This approach reverses previous policies that have hindered competitiveness and safety while entangling us in bureaucracy. ”
“While many on K Street and in the media have been hesitant to engage in these vital discussions, we chose to break the mold and provide industry leaders and the American public with this remarkable opportunity,” Fields continued.
“Secretary Duffy has made significant strides to initiate a new chapter for our transportation system, revitalizing operations that declined under the last administration,” noted Matt Sparks, co-founder of the ALFA Institute. “Today’s efforts by DOT will set the foundation for the modern, safe, and efficient transport of people and goods in the future.”
Referring to Zeldin, Sparks mentioned, “Secretary Zeldin has brought forth major reforms at the EPA. The agency is now driven by innovation rather than stagnation. By aligning regulatory practices with technological progress, the EPA stands ready to enhance America’s competitiveness and environmental leadership.”
Duffy has recently highlighted the need to address issues related to illegal immigrant truck drivers and to bolster English proficiency standards. He has actively criticized Democratic-led California for failing to enforce these requirements, even declaring his intent to withhold $40 million from the state for this oversight.
In parallel, Zeldin implemented significant structural reforms at the EPA, saving taxpayers $750 million. The agency also initiated 100 environmental actions aimed at “helping America recover” within the first 100 days of President Trump’s second term.
Notably, Breitbart News is looking to reschedule an event with Vice President J.D. Vance, who is set to travel to Israel to support the Trump peace initiative aimed at resolving the Gaza conflict. This gathering was initially planned for October 21st, but a new date will be announced soon.
