United States House of Representatives Agreed A resolution on Pakistan was adopted on Tuesday, which declares that the House “strongly supports democracy in Pakistan, including free and fair elections that reflect the will of the Pakistani people.”

The seven senators who voted against the bill included Republican Sens. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Chip Roy of Texas, Andy Biggs of Arizona, Eli Klain of Arizona, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Majorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Matt Rosendale of Montana.
Republican Congressman Richard McCormick of Georgia is the sponsor of the Pakistan resolution, and Democratic Congressman Daniel Kildee of Michigan is its original co-sponsor. Congress.gov This resolution had many co-sponsors.
In his speech on Tuesday, McCormick said Pakistan was “suffering from great economic instability due to massive external debt, record inflation and significant security threats from the Pakistani Taliban and other terrorist organisations.”
