New movies and shows to stream this weekend: Guinness House, everyone, Golden Bachelor + More
The Netflix series Guinness House, starring Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, and Fion O’Shea, rolled out earlier this week. Meanwhile, Hulu premiered season 2 of Golden Bachelor, featuring former NFL player Mel Owens as he navigates the quest for love. Additionally, check out Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots in the romantic drama everyone on Apple TV+.
Guinness House, created by the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders Stephen Knight, is an 8-episode series set in 1868, centering on the heirs of the Guinness Brewing Company. The show explores family conflict as the four adult children of the late Benjamin Guinness vie for control of his empire.
As for Golden Bachelor, it premiered its new season on ABC last Wednesday. If you happened to miss it, don’t worry—you can stream the season premiere on Hulu starting Thursday. New episodes will be available for streaming the day after they air, so you’ll always have the chance to catch up.
Apple TV+ New for September 26th: everyone
From the writer and star of Ted Lasso, Brett Goldstein co-writes and stars in everyone. It follows Simon, who is anxiously waiting for his best friend, Laura (played by Imogen Poots), while he’s also found love with someone else. The film incorporates a sci-fi twist, as Laura’s partner is someone she believes has been ‘matched’ for her. In the meantime, Simon longs for her, hoping that she’ll realize he’s her true match.
