House Oversight To Question Former Biden Doctor Kevin O’Connor

Former White House Doctor to Testify Before House Oversight Committee

Kevin O’Connor, who previously served as the White House doctor for President Joe Biden, is scheduled to provide a deposition to the House Oversight Committee next month, as confirmed by a source.

The deposition is set for July 9, according to an aide for the committee. Chairman James Comer was among the first to notify others about this development.

Comer’s communication to O’Connor also referenced a request for an interview that occurred on June 25. In light of accumulating evidence suggesting that President Biden was unwell during his inauguration, the committee is eager to gather information. They aim to ensure that the health report avoids any undue influence, Comer noted.

O’Connor had initially declined to voluntarily testify as requested by the committee, leading to a subpoena issued by Comer. The committee had confirmed that four aides from the Biden administration had agreed to participate in transcribed interviews scheduled between June 24 and July 18.

Those former aides include Neela Tanden, Anthony Bernal, Ashley Williams, and Annie Tomasini.

This announcement follows allegations made by former White House doctor and Republican Texas Representative Ronnie Jackson, who recently accused O’Connor of inappropriate conduct during his time at the White House.

Comer has also sent letters to additional former White House officials, expanding the inquiry into the administration’s handling of Biden’s health. This includes former Chief of Staff Ron Crane and senior advisor Anita Dunn, dated June 4.

In support of transparency, Republican lawmakers, including Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, have demanded interviews with former cabinet members regarding concerns about Biden’s cognitive health during his presidency and as he seeks re-election.
