According to the report, health spending as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) is 17.6%, and costs are growing at about 1% faster than GDP annually.

The report alleges that multiple insurance companies, including UnitedHealth, Anthem/Elevance, and Humana, “earn” the majority of their revenue from taxpayers.
