Lawmakers on Tuesday called on Garland to turn over records, notes, video files and other records related to President Biden’s investigation into deliberate mismanagement of classified information.
“The Committee on Oversight and Judiciary, in conjunction with the Committee on Ways and Means, is investigating whether sufficient basis exists to draft articles of impeachment against President Biden for consideration in the House of Representatives,” the committee wrote. ing. “The Committee is concerned that President Biden may have possessed confidential documents relating to certain countries involved in his family’s overseas business dealings.”
They also want classified documents mentioned in Xu’s report related to a December 2015 phone call between Vice President Biden and then-Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The deadline for submitting transcripts is March 7thththe same day Biden is scheduled to deliver his State of the Union address.
