According to the paper, the victim told prosecutors that Aroraimi did not leave her alone after they broke up and showed up at her home. He reportedly fears the couple will target him again.

Police said the victim would have been bleeding had he not been taken to the hospital, the newspaper reported.

Aloraimi and Bishtawi were each charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Aroraimi's bail was set at $75,000 and her husband's bail was set at $100,000, according to court records.
