The Houston Texans begin their away game Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens looking to make history.
In their short time as an NFL franchise, the Texans have never reached the AFC Championship Game.Should Houston win? (The game is in progress and tied at the time of this writing)as far as their organization is concerned, it will reach unconquered territory.
Whether it happens or not, the Texans made history in the process. With less than five minutes left in the first half, Steven Sims returned a punt 67 yards to the house.
What was historically about this, you ask?This was my first time being a punt. Came back He hasn't scored a touchdown in the postseason since the 2012 season, which means he hasn't scored a touchdown in more than a decade. Amazingly, the punt in question was booted by the Baltimore Ravens, but that Ravens team won the game and the Super Bowl shortly after.
This touchdown only came in the sixth quarter of the playoffs, but the Texans have made a habit of finding non-offensive ways to score since the tournament began. They already have the best postseason finish since another Super Bowl-winning team, the 2010 Green Bay Packers.

Texans rookie quarterback CJ Stroud is fine as is. It's probably not a good idea to give the team scoring opportunities that he doesn't need to be a part of.
