Erin Andrews has one goal heading into the 2024 NFL season.
The veteran NFL reporter said he's enjoying his time on the sidelines, as his contract with Fox Sports ends after this season.
“I think my goals are pretty much the same as last year, which is to have fun, especially once my contract is up because it's not going to last forever, and for me it is,” Andrews, 46, said with a laugh in a new interview with Charissa Thompson. “Calm Down” podcast.
She revealed that Andrews “quietly” re-signed with Fox on a three-year contract. SI Media Podcast July 2022.
The Wear by EA founder will be a free agent for the 2025 season unless he re-signs with Fox Sports.
“This contract year is amazing!” said Thompson, who also hosts the Prime Video pregame show “Thursday Night Football” as well as Fox NFL Kickoff, the undercard show to Fox NFL Sunday.
“So it's a contract year, an election year and what else is going on?” Andrews said.
“I always seem to panic an hour before [game day]I'm going to recite some [the information] It would be easy to say this if I kept that in mind, but so far I haven't been able to do that well.
“So I feel like preparation is always something I try to do really well.”
Andrews and Thompson, who are best friends outside of their respective careers, discussed her contract while answering fan questions on their podcast, “Pregame,” on Tuesday, a prelude to a full episode that will be released every Thursday.
The former ESPN sideline reporter has publicly professed to have loved her time at Fox Sports, where she now covers games alongside Kevin Burkhart and Tom Brady, who made his debut as Fox's lead NFL analyst during the Cowboys-Browns game in Week 1.
Brady, who signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox in 2022, replaces Greg Olsen, who is currently on the No. 2 broadcast team with Joe Davis.
During another episode of her and Thompson's “Calm Down” podcast last week, Andrews spoke candidly about struggling to find “form” ahead of the start of the 2024 season.
Fox Sports will broadcast Super Bowl 2025 live from New Orleans.
