Jalen Brunson’s wife is ready to return to The Garden after the Knicks took a 3-1 series lead in Game 4 of the first round of their playoff series against the Sixers on Sunday.
Ali Marks shared a simple but sweet message on social media after the All-Star point guard scored 47 points in the Knicks’ 97-92 win over Philadelphia at Wells Fargo Center.
Marks wrote “Let’s go home” with a heart over a photo of the jumbotron with the final score.
Marks also reshared Knicks’ Instagram post in which he referred to Brunson as “Mr. Martin.” clutch. “
Brunson’s 47 points in Game 4 were the highest scoring game of his playoff career and the highest ever by a Knicks player in the postseason.
He added 10 assists and 4 rebounds.
That happened after he scored 39 points in the Knicks’ 125-114 loss in Game 3 on Thursday.
Marks, who has supported Brunson since high school in Illinois, celebrated his first All-Star selection in February.
About 10 months after Branson and Marks announced their engagement, the couple wed last July at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago. From an Instagram post from September 2022.
Branson proposed to Marks, a physical therapist, on the basketball court at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, where the lovers first met as students.
Their engagement took place two months after Brunson signed a four-year, $104 million contract with the Knicks in July of that year.
Brunson spent the first four years of his career with the Mavericks, who drafted him in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2018 NBA Draft.
The Knicks will host the Sixers in a Game 5 elimination contest on Tuesday at 7pm ET.
