How liberal messaging fosters significant hopelessness in young individuals

Did the hate speech from the left play a role in Charlie Kirk’s death? It’s certainly a possibility. Some believe that figures like Donald Trump, along with their followers, foster an environment that encourages violence against critics. But it’s argued that Democrats have contributed even more significantly to societal issues. They propagate a sense of despair, suggesting to young people—especially young men—that the American Dream is practically non-existent. In their view, engaging with video games and seeking entertainment seems to be as good as it gets, leading many to see violence, even self-harm, as a potential escape.

According to a recent Pew Research study, only 39% of individuals aged 18-29 still believe in the American Dream. Interestingly, young Democrats seem to express far more cynicism compared to their Republican counterparts.

In the wake of Kirk’s assassination, officials have acknowledged a troubling political climate, asserting that “violent rhetoric precedes violent actions.”

What could be behind this? Perhaps the words of democratic socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, who claimed during his latest tour that the American Dream has morphed into a nightmare, and that the wealthy have manipulated the system to elude accountability.

Or consider Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who accused the GOP of deceiving middle-class Americans while prioritizing the interests of billionaires at the expense of healthcare, social security, and veteran benefits.

Ocasio-Cortez urges younger audiences to recognize that those who amass great wealth often do so at the public’s expense.

It’s no surprise that many young people, often influenced by left-leaning educators, feel betrayed and angry. There’s a palpable sense of jealousy, too.

A recent Rasmussen survey indicates that many voters under 40 support measures to limit personal income and redistribute wealth, believing the current economic system is rigged against them.

Younger leaders reflect on the legacy of Charlie Kirk, dubbed “The Godfather of Campus Conservatism,” after his assassination.

What’s happening here? This perspective runs counter to traditional American values that celebrate success and entrepreneurial endeavors. Some believe that liberals perceive the economy as a zero-sum game, leading us to a concerning situation.

Research shows that the number of young men not actively seeking jobs has doubled since 1980. This raises alarm bells; young men lacking direction may easily spiral into trouble.

Democrats perpetuate the frustration felt by young voters, many of whom are anxious about increasing living expenses. High-profile figures like Bernie Sanders criticize corporate greed, pointing fingers at inflation largely attributed to spending by President Biden and Democratic lawmakers. Even Vice President Kamala Harris has proposed solutions addressing inflation that might seem unrealistic.

While it’s easy to vilify corporate giants, it’s worth noting that they are actual people, and anger toward them can lead to drastic actions. A tragic example being the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The accused suspect was reportedly driven by rage aimed at corporate America.

More recently, innocent people were shot in a midtown office building by a young man from Las Vegas. Similarly, there are concerns about individuals like Thomas Matthew Crooks, who allegedly attempted to harm President Trump, or the individual linked to Kirk’s murder.

The question looms: Have these young men lost touch with humanity due to excessive gaming or online pursuits? Have the disruptions caused by Covid affected their development? It’s a troubling thought that they might feel their futures are bleak, leading them to seek retribution.

These are significant issues that could shape the future of our country. Take, for example, the democratic socialist candidate for mayor in New York City, Zohran Mamdani, who offers promises such as free transportation and childcare, but does little to address underlying economic growth.

Historically, Americans have held a belief in progress and the potential for successful lives for all. However, today’s Democrats seem inclined to nurture a culture of grievance, suggesting that racial and gender-based barriers are insurmountable. They cultivate dependency, which grants politicians more influence.

Interestingly, studies suggest conservatives tend to report more happiness than liberals, a statistic that might not surprise anyone. Conservatives often cherish faith, family, and patriotism, fostering a more uplifting narrative.

Charlie Kirk advocated for the American Dream, instilling hope and patriotism in those who followed him. Even in his passing, his message about freedom, family values, and fundamental American principles resonates, inspiring many to believe in a positive future—something that seems lacking in the current Democratic rhetoric.
