New York City Councilwoman Vicki Palladino says the blatant targeting of Daniel Penny, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran on trial for the strangulation death of Jordan Neely in New York City, is alienating other Good Samaritans. He is worried that something will happen to him, and he made this statement during his appearance on Thursday. Breitbart News Daily.
“What struck me was how politicized the DA's office was. She was a disgrace. She was a liar, she was despicable. In fact, she gave Daniel Penny that “I had a mission to fulfill today, and that was to kill poor, poor Daniel Neely,” the mentally ill man who allegedly shouted the threat on a New York City train said. Palladino said, referring to the homeless man. He urges Penny and others to intervene.
“She sounded like that, but she's a hardcore, hardcore progressive leftist with ties to Black Lives Matter. She's politicized. She's the worst of the Bragg prosecutors. , one of the worst people,” she said, noting that Bragg did not attend Daniel Penny's attorney's closing argument.
“No. He came later in the day after lunch, and our chief of staff and I were sitting there, and he was right across the aisle from me, maybe eight feet from me. I was there and I saw this guy up close. He's fed up, and this is what he wants. He came to hear her crucifying Daniel Penny, and it was really horrifying. So how did this young man sit there? is a hero,” she said, explaining that Bragg's office has a mission.
listen:
“And their mission is that there is no crime in New York, you don't pay for crime in New York unless they want you to compete. This is race-baited, definitely , because they shoved it in our faces,” Palladino said, explaining that the DA's office “turned it into something it wasn't.”
“And with all the frustration you feel when you're watching it, you have to understand that there are 12 people in there, right?” she said, hoping at least one person was wondering.
“And now I'm watching jurors who were sitting stand up. [I’m] So I tried to read body language and prayed that one juror would have the common sense to know that we need this good Samaritan. Police took eight minutes to respond. They were trapped inside the subway car. This man came to help. How many good Samaritans will this turn away? ” she asked.
“People jump in and try to help. Hey, maybe they're going to sit on the train and leave their earphones in. Maybe Daniel Penny should have done the same thing today, 26 15 years in prison for protecting innocent people on the train, and they will decide whether you go or not, ”she stressed. People interact with other people every day. Can't move. The door will not open while the train is running. You can't get off the train right away. ”
