Meghan Markle celebrated her 44th birthday on Monday, sharing moments from her special day with her husband, Prince Harry.
Recent photos highlight the Duchess of Sussex blowing out candles on beautifully decorated cakes while enjoying a meal with close friends and family at the trendy Beverly Hills restaurant, Funke.
She expressed her gratitude in an Instagram post, saying, “Thank you for blowing the candles during such a beautiful 24-hour period. It made it special for my husband, friends, and family.”
Markle also acknowledged those who send her daily love, stating, “You might not know, but thank you so much. I’m really grateful for that.”
In her post, Markle referred to herself as a “little foodie,” hinting at her affection for the much-loved restaurant.
She commented, “This dinner at @funke_la last night is in the top five meals of my life, thanks to @evanfunke and his team’s culinary mastery.” She added, “Thank you for an extraordinary… outstanding dining experience.”
This birthday celebration comes amid discussions surrounding past allegations of mistreatment from former staff members, which were highlighted by author Kinsey Schofield in her podcast and book, “The Courtier: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown.”
Schofield mentioned feeling anxious about Meghan’s actions and that working in her environment was challenging. Yet, representatives for the Duchess dismissed these allegations as recycled and unfounded, attributing them to a broader agenda to tarnish her image.
Her spokesperson emphasized, “The Duchess has endured years of unjust attacks disguised as journalism, part of an ongoing smear campaign.”
