About the 49ers vs. Packers game
Throughout franchise history, the Packers have a 38-33-1 record against the 49ers.
The last time we met was in January 2022. San Francisco won 13-10 and advanced to the NFC Championship Game, but lost to the Rams.
This season, the 49ers went 12-5 and made the playoffs for the third consecutive year. They also have a whopping eight players in the Pro Bowl — quarterback Brock Purdy, running back Christian McCaffrey, fullback Kyle Juschuk, tight end George Kittle and offensive tackle Trent. Williams, defensive end Nick Bosa, defensive lineman Javon Hargrave, linebacker Fred Warner and cornerback Charvarius Ward.
As for the 9-8 Packers, they finished the season on a strong note, winning four of six, including surprise upsets against the Chiefs and Lions, and made it to the playoffs. Despite the impressive results, the team has zero representatives for this year's Pro Bowl. Replacements include linebacker Rashan Gary, defensive lineman Kenny Clark, guard Elgton Jenkins, cornerback Jaire Alexander and return specialist Keyshawn Nixon.
