Travis Kelce Reflects on Impact of Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce recently shared how his fiancée, Taylor Swift, has positively influenced his life. In a conversation with Fox NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews, he mentioned that over the past two years, she has “brought excitement and joy” into his world.
“She made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me feel more comfortable,” Kelce noted. The couple, who sparked romance rumors in 2023, got engaged in August. This significant moment moved the Super Bowl champion to tears, he recalled.
“I had tears everywhere when I asked her how much she meant to me and expressed my desire to spend the rest of my life with her,” said the 35-year-old tight end, who took Andrews on a trip with Swift earlier this year.
Now entering his 13th NFL season, Kelce is focused on a quieter campaign for 2024 while remaining passionate about the game. Speculation surrounds when he might consider retirement, but he feels he still has much to prove.
“I love what I do. I’m still a kid who enjoys every aspect of the game on Sunday. I’ve built a family here, and I don’t want to give up on it yet,” he expressed.
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to play against the Philadelphia Eagles, aiming to avoid an 0-2 start after their loss to the Chargers in Brazil. The Eagles had previously defeated the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, impacting Kelce’s performance that day, where he recorded just four receptions for 39 yards.
Kickoff for the Chiefs and Eagles matchup is scheduled for Sunday at 4:25 PM, and there is speculation that Swift will attend the game at Arrowhead Stadium, having missed the previous week.
