How to watch Mets vs. Phillies with Jets-Patriots game airing on Fox

Thursday night will be a nostalgic night for the Mets on television.

The Mets begin a huge four-game series against the Phillies on Channel 9 (WOR), their final home game of the season.

The game will be broadcast nationally exclusively by Fox, but the Jets-Patriots matchup will be televised for free in those two local NFL markets as it airs on Amazon's “Thursday Night Football,” and on Fox 5 in the New York area.

As a result, the Mets-Phillies game was moved to Fox 5's sister station, My9.

Each match in the four-match set will be broadcast on a different channel.

Friday night's Mets-Phillies game will be exclusive to Apple TV+, while Saturday's 4:10 p.m. game will air on SNY.

The two teams will conclude the series by playing against each other on ESPN's “Sunday Night Baseball.”

After that dizzying stretch, Mets fans will have some familiarity with the team's final six games, which include big road series against the Braves and Brewers with a shot at a 2024 MLB playoff spot.

SNY will broadcast five of the six games, with next Saturday's game at Milwaukee being broadcast on PIX11.

As for Thursday's game, Mets star Francisco Lindor remains sidelined with a back injury, but promising prospect Luisángel Acuña will again start at shortstop.

Luis Severino will face off against former Mets player Taijuan Walker.
