How to watch Unrivaled 3×3 basketball: Schedule, rosters, more

A new women's basketball league begins today.

Unrivaled is a 3-on-3 women's basketball league that provides a year-round destination for WNBA players to play without leaving the country. It was founded by New York Liberty power forward Brianna Stewart and Minnesota Lynx power forward Napheesa Collier with the intention of all players in the league having a stake in the league itself.

Unrivaled will begin with six teams playing at a central location in Miami, Florida, with all games being broadcast on TV and Max.

What is Invincible Basketball?

Unrivaled is a new 3-on-3 women's basketball league founded by WNBA star players Stewart and Collier, whose purpose, in part, is to allow WNBA players to participate in year-round basketball domestically and to The purpose is to avoid the priority rule of having more than two years of experience. In addition to Stewart and Collier, Brittney Griner, Sabrina Ionescu, Angel Reese and Arike Ogunbowale are just a few of the league's big names. Cameron Brink signed a two-year contract, but was unable to play until the second year due to a torn ACL, ending his rookie season early.

Is there a name you won't see on an Unrivaled court? Caitlin Clark. The star reportedly turned down the $1 million offer.

Unrivaled is funded by a number of investors, many of whom are current or retired professional athletes. The salary pool is approximately $8 million, and the average annual salary per player is $222,222, nearly $100,000 more than the average annual salary in the WNBA.

The season takes place entirely in the Miami area, and the luxury amenities offered by the league rival those of the WNBA.
