How Tom Brady, Jordon Hudson welcomed Bill Belichick to Instagram

Few people are more familiar with Instagram than Bill Belichick.

Hours after the eight-time Super Bowl champion made his splashy social media debut on Wednesday, he received welcome messages from his girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, 23, and former quarterback Tom Brady, who mocked his behavior on social media.

“Okay guys, the party's over. Bill's here,” Brady joked in an Instagram video shared Thursday. “It was a good run, but we need to close it out. Welcome back, Coach.”

Brady, now in his first season as an NFL commentator, won six Super Bowl championships with the 72-year-old Belichick in New England over 20 seasons.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback left the Patriots in 2020 and won his final Super Bowl in 2021 as a member of the Buccaneers.

Brady, 47, will officially retire from the NFL in 2023 and announced the news on social media.

Meanwhile, Hudson, whose relationship with Belichick was first revealed in June, congratulated the legendary coach on his decision to join Instagram with a playful post of his own.

“This is an official petition to get @BillBelichick to change his handle to @BillyGoat!! 🐐,” Hudson wrote on Wednesday. “Welcome to Instagram, Billy!!!!”

Belichick liked Hudson's post, a former college cheerleader, and reshared it on his own Instagram Story.

“I'm going to leave 'Billy Goating' to @bill.t.goat at @usnavalacademy,” he wrote.

Belichick has been busy since leaving the Patriots in January after 24 seasons.

He will appear weekly on “The Pat McAfee Show” and will also have media appearances, including “The Manningcast,” ESPN's “Monday Night Football” alternative show featuring Eli and Peyton Manning.

Belichick interviewed for the Falcons' head coaching vacancy during this NFL hiring cycle, with Raheem Morris ultimately getting the job.
