Tom Brady will perform on Thanksgiving for the first time in years.
As if that wasn't enough of a change for the retired QB, he will spend his time off providing analysis for Fox's Giants-Cowboys game. This game is a matchup between two teams stuck in the basement of the NFC East.
Still, Brady is not backing down from the challenge.
“I'm fired up for soccer!!!” See you tomorrow! ” he posted on X, which quoted a video of his Fox colleague Michael Strahan breaking his work schedule.
Thursday will provide another learning opportunity for Brady, as the 4-7 Cowboys will be relying on QB Cooper Rush again with starter Dan Prescott out for the season, and the Cowboys are 2-9. This is because the Giants are still considering who will replace Tommy DeVito under center. He was sidelined just one week after the team moved on from Daniel Jones.
No matter how “spirited” Brady is going into the game, football can quickly take a turn for the ugly. And Brady will have to help keep them entertained in a game with little at stake other than bragging rights.
The extra time in the booth could be beneficial for Brady, at least as a pro.
Pack said Fox's bosses wanted him to focus more on what he was seeing on the field rather than discussing intangibles.
He's already taken a big step forward in his burgeoning career, becoming more comfortable alongside Kevin Burkhardt in the network's top NFL booth.
Brady is in the first season of a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox and was prepared to take the job and move away from his family this year.
He and ex-wife Gisele Bundchen “will not celebrate Thanksgiving together,” exclusive source says told Page SixHe added: “Gisele took the kids and headed to Costa Rica with Joaquin.” [Valente] To spend the holidays together. ”
“Tom has been cooperative and that's the deal he and Gisele have agreed to.”
