Howard Stern has come to the defense of longtime friend Jimmy Kimmel.

The late night talk show host was in the news after Aaron Rodgers hinted that Kimmel would be on Jeffrey Epstein's client list.

“A lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hope this never comes out,” Rodgers said on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week. “I’m telling you, when that list comes out, I’m definitely going to open some bottles.”

Kimmel slammed the New York Jets quarterback on his late-night show Monday night, and the radio legend had his own words for the four-time MVP.

“What do you mean Aaron Rodgers? I mean, what a hoot,” Stern said Tuesday. “You know what it is? When someone's out of their wits and they're in a feud with someone, all they do these days is they make stuff up about you. They make up conspiracy theories. That's outrageous.

“I was really angry about that. …What are you doing? You can't just make things up about somebody in public. It's very angry. …Aaron Rodgers wanted to attack Jimmy, so… Did he just make something up and call him a pedophile?”

ESPN, the network that airs McAfee's show, apologized for Rodgers' “stupid and factually incorrect joke.”
