HR executive Kristin Cabot was spotted with astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert, despite him seemingly being married to another company’s CEO. They reportedly purchased a house together just five months before the incident made headlines.
Property records reveal that Kristin, 52, whose maiden name is Stanek, and Andy Cabot, chief exec of Massachusetts-based boot maker Private Lamb, have shared a residence in Rye, New Hampshire, since at least 2023.
According to Privateer Rum’s website, Andrew Cabot serves as both CEO and COO. His biography highlights that his forebear, the first Andrew Cabot (1750-1791), was a notable merchant and distiller during the American Revolution.
After being listed as co-residents, Andrew and Kristin Cabot bought a two-story, four-bedroom home in February for $2.2 million, located only minutes away from the Atlantic Coast.
While they have the same last name and appear to co-own the house, details about their marriage—like when or where it happened—remain unverified.
Kristin Cabot’s now-deleted LinkedIn account indicated she had been an advisory board member at Privateer Rum since September 2020.
A social media post is circulating showing Kristin and Andrew Cabot together with two children this past week.
Attempts to contact Andrew Cabot and Privateer Rum for comments were unsuccessful, as was outreach to Kristin Cabot.
The New York-based software company, where Andy Byron works, announced on Friday that an investigation into the concert incident is underway.
“Astronomers prioritize values and culture established since their inception. Our leadership is expected to maintain high standards of conduct and accountability,” the company expressed in a LinkedIn statement. “A formal investigation is in process, and further updates will follow.”
As previously reported, Kristin Cabot divorced her ex-husband, Kenneth Thornby, in 2022 after initially filing in 2018, according to Massachusetts court documents.
The duo went viral when they playfully tried to avoid the “kiss cam” at Gillette Stadium, prompting a light-hearted joke from Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin: “Are they cheating or just really shy?”
Interestingly, Andy Byron also seems to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, who has since removed his last name from her social media and went offline after significant public commentary.
On the Privateer Rum website, Andrew is described as a visionary and strategist who collaborates closely with his team to create an exceptional rum. A notable question that has accompanied his career is, “How can I make this even better?”
Additionally, the brand’s advertisements promise high-end bottles—some over $100—crafted from authentic ingredients and proudly made in the U.S.
In a concluding note, the brand asserts its commitment to transparency, integrity, and purity.
