Hulk Hogan worried Jake Paul will ‘kill’ Mike Tyson

Hulk Hogan is concerned that Jake Paul will go on a rampage against Mike Tyson.

Hogan, the 71-year-old WWE legend, appeared on Logan Paul's “Impaulsive” podcast last week and expressed concern that the host's brother would hurt Tyson in their November bout.

“Your brother's too strong,” Hogan told Rogan about Jake, “… The minute I saw him take that guy down with that left and hit that overhand, I was like, 'Oh my God'… I was so scared. I love Mike to death. I don't want him to kill Mike. Oh my God.”

Tyson, 58, and Jake Paul were originally scheduled to face off on Netflix in July, but the bout was postponed to Nov. 15 after Tyson underwent a medical emergency during a flight.

Shortly before the fight was postponed, Tyson spoke to Esquire magazine about why he wanted to try out such a physical spectacle in his late 50s.

“I'm a glory junkie. I love having people think about me all day long,” Tyson said at the time. “I'd rather live a short, glorious life than a long, obscure one. That's just who I am.”

Tyson added: “I started fighting to get this f**king position, and I'm gonna chase it for the rest of my life. I know that. I'm a pain-hungry guy, so I'll never get what I want. I'll never get tired of pain.”

In an interview with The Washington Post over the summer, Paul explained his unique reasons for taking on the fight.

“I just want to take a risk,” Paul said.

“I think I'm obsessed with this. I don't think anyone would take the risk in this position, so I definitely do. But that's what makes me different. I'm not going to slow down for anyone and I want to stay active in the gym.”

“At the end of the day, he's Mike Tyson. He has lethal knockout power and is very experienced. I think it'll be a brawl either way.”
